Frank's Coffee in Bonn

Great selection of cakes and cookies, many of them vegan and some gluten-free, and the usual selection of coffee options plus specialties. Salty foods are on offer too. Smoothies are also available, some with interesting twists. Generally a friendly and spacious place with space for prams and high chairs etc. in a pretty spot near the botanical garden. Transforms into a surprisingly cozy bar (given how spacious it is) with nice cocktails, also offers Flammkuchen. Exceptionally friendly, professional and personal staff too. What I don't like: they don't want you to spend too much time there consuming little (fair enough), so they don't like people working (understandable), but even reading is discouraged (seriously!?). That's taking it too far. And the boss is not very friendly.

Complete exchange of staff please! I usually rate on other portals, here today, because I also want management to read it. Location: Cozy and nicely decorated. Instead of the mirror, however, pictures would be friendlier. Toilet stinks and is not clean. Even the floor in the shop ?. Drinks and food: very mixed. Concept? I had tarte flambée and yes it tasted good. (Always only judge my own orders). My latte macchiato was delicious. They seem to be good there, which is why there are so many good reviews. I would have to test whether the cocktails are good, but I won't. Value for money overpriced in my eyes. Staff and service: disaster! I had the feeling that only chickens are working that are not really attentive. There was still a man, older semesters, who didn't fit in there and looked stressed and overwhelmed. The lady behind the counter looked artificial. The times until we had our drinks and food could be improved. Otherwise the staff is friendly but inattentive and disorganized. Conclusion: we will not go there anymore. Here the owner should think about changing his staff and revising the menu. We basically see potential.

There are serious noodle with ketchup and tuna on the menu ... overall simple food for too much money in a nice atmosphere. Have been waiting for the pancakes forever. They were delicious. Ciabatta with Parmesan was a snack at most. The two slices were tiny. Flammkuchen is available from 9.90 €. Toilets were very dirty and stunk.

Lovely place and wonderful employees! At nights there is a DJ playing really nice music.

Lovely coffee shop in the center of poppelsdorf. Also a great advantage is that they are open until quite late in the night unlike other coffee shops in Bonn that close in the evening.

Great pancakes and breakfast, great coffee. The bacon is done perfectly and the pancakes are moist and fluffy. The service is fast and friendly, very customer-focused. There is a clean, well-stocked changing table in the women's washroom. The only thing that isn't up to par are the baked goods, which are expensive and only just good, not great.

Nice and modern cafe, cozy, delicious food and good coffee. Very visible, friendly and fast staff. You feel really welcome. The prices are already lifted, but it can still be justified by the quality of the food. There is a star deduction for the lack of accessibility (with stroller or wheelchair you can not move inside, the entrance there are steps) and the expensive prices.

You are sitting inside and outside comfortable, nice service and good selection. At the prices the food could be a bit better, the coffee is great.

My 1st recession, which must be! 1. Order taken and at least 3/4 hour serviced for PanCakes. They were not even through and much too sweet. 2. I did not feel comfortable with the freedom of movement of the employees and only stayed for the sake of my friend. 3. Coffee tasted, so 2 instead of 1 * Unfortunately now that happens to friends, so my feedback.

THAT was missing Poppelsdorf !!! Super coherent concept, perfect opening hours, great, creative, fresh products, stylish decor and a great, competent, always cheerful team! I LOVE this shop :)

Very relaxed cafe with a cozy modern atmosphere. The prices are okay and you can pay by card. There are sockets, so you can work well there. There are a lot of vegan, with a vegan cake would be more beautiful.

Nice outside seating with a good selection of breakfast lunch dishes. I had salmon omelete, cappuccino and mango-ginger-orange juice. All can be recommended!

Very nice restaurant where you can comfortably drink a coffee and forget the time. Very nice to meet with people :-) I can always recommend Frank's coffee no matter where you've been and always worth a visit. Terrific restaurant with great idea and concept always soo.

In my opinion, the best café in Bonn and the surrounding area. From the very delicious milk coffee to the perfect tarte flambée, everything is there. But especially the staff always friendly and really made an effort! Absolutely recommended. Even with several people spending the evening here is no problem and everyone who was dragged along felt immediately at ease.

Cool cocktails, nice vibes. And of course, the coffee doesn't need an introduction. If you haven't been to franks cafe in the center, you should try the coffee here!
